Abstract
Secara profesional tenaga kesehatan dalam praktek klinik mempunyai peran menurunkan angka kematian ibu. Tenaga kesehatan merupakan garda terdepan dalam mendeteksi kemungkinan risiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan peran tenaga kesehatan dengan kemampuan identifikasi risiko kehamilan pada ibu hamil trimester III di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Ajung Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan design cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil trimester III di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Ajung Kabupaten Jember dengan melibatkan sebanyak 66 partisipan. Partisipan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data diambil menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Spearman Rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada ibu hamil trimester III teridentifikasi bahwa peran tenaga kesehatan jumlah terbanyak adalah kategori kurang (51,5%), memiliki kemampuan identifikasi risiko kehamilan dengan jumlah terbanyak pada kategori kurang (53,0%). Analisis bivariate menunjukkan secara signifikan terdapat ada hubungan peran tenaga kesehatan dengan kemampuan identifikasi risiko kehamilan pada ibu hamil trimester III (p-value = 0,0001; α = 0,05; r = 0,805). Temuan ini memberikan bukti bahwa secara independen peran tenaga kesehatan yang optimal akan disertai dengan kemampuan identifikasi risiko kehamilan yang baik pada ibu hamil. Kolaborasi timbal balik antara ibu dan tenaga kesehatan dengan memberikan konseling manajemen risiko berkualitas tinggi dapat mengarah pada pemilihan strategi manajemen risiko yang efektif.
