IDENTIFIKASI KEANEKARAGAMAN DAN DOMINANSI GULMA PADA LAHAN PERTANIAN JAGUNG (ZEA MAYS) AGROTEKNOPARK SARIWANGI

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keanekaragaman dan dominansi gulma pada lahan pertanian jagung (Zea mays) di kawasan Agroteknopark Sariwangi. Gulma memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap produktivitas pertanian karena bersaing dengan tanaman utama dalam hal nutrisi, cahaya, air, dan ruang tumbuh. Metode penelitian meliputi survei vegetasi gulma menggunakan kuadrat 1 m² di lima titik pengamatan yang tersebar secara diagonal. Pengukuran juga dilakukan terhadap faktor lingkungan seperti intensitas cahaya, suhu, kelembaban, dan pH tanah. Hasil identifikasi menemukan 16 jenis gulma dengan dominansi tertinggi pada Ischaemum muticum, Bidens pilosa, dan Ageratum conyzoides. Selain karakteristik ekologi, penelitian ini juga mengkaji potensi pemanfaatan gulma sebagai bahan pupuk organik, mulsa alami, atau tanaman penutup tanah. Temuan ini memberikan informasi penting dalam strategi pengelolaan gulma berkelanjutan dengan pendekatan ekologi dan produktivitas lahan yang optimal.
