Abstract

Terapi seni adalah bentuk kegiatan psikologi yang efektif dalam mengatasi kecemasan dan trauma pada kasus kekerasan. Proses pembuatan karya seni dalam terapi seni dapat mengembangkan kemampuan coping individu, membantu mengenali suara alam bawah sadar, dan menyalurkan pikiran serta perasaan negatif melalui karya seni. Anak dapat melepaskan emosi, berekspresi secara non verbal, dan merefleksikan diri melalui seni. Proses ini memiliki kaitan dengan neuroscience, di mana menggambar akan mengaktifkan visual cortex pada otak. Dengan demikian, terapi seni efektif dalam menyalurkan emosi, mengatasi kecemasan, serta membantu individu mengatur perasaannya.
