Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika perilaku forgiveness pada vulnerable children yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi untuk menggali pengalaman mendalam dari tiga subjek remaja yang tinggal di Yayasan Panti Asuhan X. Data dikumpulkan dengan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dinamika perilaku forgiveness mencakup tiga aspek utama; avoidance motivasions (motivasi menghindari pelaku), revenge motivations (motivasi membalas dendam), dan benevolence motivations (motivasi berbuat baik). Selain itu ketiga subjek menunjukkan fase-fase forgiveness yang mereka lalui, dari mulai uncovering phase hingga work phase. Faktor-faktor seperi tingkat empati, hubungan dengan pelaku dan pengalaman traumatis memengaruhi proses forgiveness pada masing-masing subjek.
