Abstract

ABSTRACT

The Sharia Economic System is an economic framework rooted in Islamic principles, emphasizing ethics, justice, and sustainability in business practices. This article explores the implementation of Sharia principles in the global market, including the prohibition of riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), maysir (gambling), and illicit transactions, while promoting equitable wealth distribution. Despite challenges such as regulatory differences, limited Sharia financial infrastructure, and low global awareness, Sharia businesses hold significant potential for growth through local-international collaboration and strategic innovation. By adhering to Sharia principles, business actors can create a sustainable positive impact on the global economy, enhance reputation, and build trust in an ethical and equitable business model.
