TATA KELOLA EKONOMI GLOBAL (STUDI KASUS : KRISIS EKONOMI AKIBAT PANDEMI COVID 19 DI INDONESIA)
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study examines the role of international organizations in mitigating the economic crisis in Indonesia triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. The research analyzes the impact of the pandemic on Indonesia's economy, including job losses, currency devaluation, and GDP contraction. It then delves into the responses of key international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, and the Group of Twenty (G20) in supporting Indonesia's economic recovery. The findings reveal that these organizations played a crucial role through various mechanisms, including financial assistance, policy advice, and fostering global cooperation. The IMF provided emergency funding and technical assistance, while the World Bank supported infrastructure development and social safety nets. The G20 facilitated coordination among major economies and promoted a global response to the crisis. Moreover, the study underscores the importance of Indonesia's active participation in these international forums. By leveraging its presidency of the G20 in 2022, Indonesia was able to shape the global agenda and attract foreign investment.
