Abstract
SIAL Interfood is an international food and beverage exhibition held in Jakarta. This event is one of the main culinary tourism attractions, which not only displays products and innovations from various countries, but also introduces the richness of Indonesian culinary specialties. By presenting various interesting activities, such as cooking demonstrations, competitions, seminars, and workshops, SIAL Interfood offers a unique experience for visitors while also being a strategic platform for business actors to expand their business networks.
This study aims to analyze the role of SIAL Interfood as a culinary tourism attraction in Jakarta. Based on the results of observations and interviews, it was found that the factors of uniqueness, accessibility, service quality, and benefits of event promotion have a significant role in attracting local and foreign tourists. In addition, this event supports the development of the creative economy and strengthens Jakarta's image as a culinary tourism destination that combines traditional and modern innovation. The results of the study show that SIAL Interfood is not only a culinary exhibition event, but also a medium to promote culinary tourism attractions in Jakarta globally.
