PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL DAN PRODUKTIVITAS BELAJAR MAHASISWA

Abstract
This research aims to analyze the relationship social media usage and students' study productivity. The background highlights the widespread use of social media among students, which potentially affects their time management and learning efficiency. The study uses a quantitative approach, employing questionnaires as the data collection instrument. The sample consists of 150 students from various academic programs. The findings reveal a negative correlation between social media usage and study productivity, primarily related to time management issues. The study concludes that effective time management in social media usage can improve students' learning productivity.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media sosial dengan produktivitas belajar mahasiswa. Latar belakang penelitian adalah tingginya penggunaan media sosial di kalangan mahasiswa yang dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas waktu belajar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 150 mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial memiliki korelasi negatif dengan produktivitas belajar, terutama dalam hal manajemen waktu. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pengelolaan waktu yang tepat dalam penggunaan media sosial dapat meningkatkan produktivitas belajar mahasiswa
