PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN PKN DI SEKOLAH DASAR MELALUI MODEL PENGAJARAN BERMAIN PERAN

Abstract
Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan pemahaman nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan siswa di sekolah dasar. Namun, metode pembelajaran konvensional yang pasif dan monoton telah terbukti kurang efektif dalam mencapai tujuan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas model pengajaran bermain peran dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PKn di sekolah dasar. Melalui metode studi literatur, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai temuan yang menunjukkan bahwa model bermain peran dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, partisipasi aktif, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa. Teknik ini juga terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman konsep-konsep kewarganegaraan. Model bermain peran berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap pengembangan karakter siswa dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, model ini telah menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional dalam berbagai aspek, seperti keterlibatan siswa dan retensi pengetahuan. Meski demikian, ada beberapa tantangan dalam implementasinya, termasuk keterbatasan waktu, fasilitas, dan perbedaan kemampuan siswa. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk merancang strategi pembelajaran yang efisien dan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan penerapan model bermain peran. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar guru dan pemangku kebijakan pendidikan mempertimbangkan penggunaan model ini sebagai pendekatan yang inovatif dan efektif dalam pembelajaran PKn.
