Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat pesat di era digital saat ini telah memberikan tantangan baru di dunia pendidikan. Keterampilan dalam penggunaan komputer adalah salah satu kompetensi dasar yang sangat penting bagi siswa sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan komputer dasar bagi siswa kelas 5 di SD 51 Kota Bengkulu serta memberikan pendampingan yang diperlukan kepada para guru untuk mengoperasikan komputer secara efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kasus yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk mendalami pengalaman dan perubahan keterampilan yang dialami siswa dan guru. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam menggunakan komputer, seperti menjalankan berbagai aplikasi dasar dan menjelajahi internet untuk keperluan pembelajaran. Di sisi lain, guru juga melaporkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam menggunakan teknologi dalam proses mengajar mereka. Program sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan efektif serta meningkatkan literasi digital di kalangan siswa dan guru. Dengan meningkatnya keterampilan komputer di kalangan siswa dan guru, diharapkan sekolah dapat menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang lebih adaptif dan responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi, yang sangat penting untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan.
The rapid advancement of information and communication technology in today's digital era presents new challenges in the educational landscape. Skills in computer usage have become essential competencies for students from an early age. This research aims to carry out socialization and training in basic computer usage for fifth-grade students at SD 51 Kota Bengkulu, while also providing necessary support to teachers in effectively operating computers. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed, allowing for an in-depth understanding of the experiences and skill transformations experienced by both students and teachers. The results of this training program indicate a significant enhancement in students' understanding and skills in using computers, such as operating various basic applications and exploring the internet for learning purposes. On the other hand, teachers reported increased confidence in utilizing technology within their teaching processes. This socialization and training program is expected to create a more interactive and effective learning environment, as well as improve digital literacy among both students and teachers. With the enhancement of computer skills among students and teachers, it is hoped that schools can foster a more adaptive and responsive educational ecosystem to technological advancements, which is crucial for addressing future challenges.
