UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENERAPKAN MEDIA VISUAL MATERI WUJUD BENDA DI KELAS III MIS IKHWANUL MUSLIMIN KECAMATAN SIRANDORUNG

Abstract
This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed at improving students' learning outcomes. The research was conducted in Grade III at MIS Ikhwanul Muslimin, Sirandorung District, by implementing visual media in teaching the topic of matter forms in November 2023. The research subjects consisted of 28 third-grade students. The study was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. To monitor the learning process, several instruments were used, including observation sheets, interview guidelines, and test questions. The results indicated an improvement in students' learning outcomes after incorporating visual media, specifically images. In the first cycle, the learning mastery rate was 43%, which then increased to 100% in the second cycle, reflecting a 57% improvement. This increase was attributed to the use of visual media, which provided meaningful learning experiences, fostered enthusiasm among students, and optimized their learning achievements. In addition to improved learning outcomes, students demonstrated greater engagement during lessons, appearing more enthusiastic and enjoying the learning process

Abstrak
Penelitian ini adalah suatu bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa. PTK ini dilaksanakan di kelas III MIS Ikhwanul Muslimin, Kecamatan Sirandorung, dengan menerapkan media visual pada materi pembelajaran mengenai wujud benda pada bulan November 2023. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 28 siswa kelas III. Penelitian berikut dilakukan dalam dua tahap, di mana setiap tahapan berisi dua pertemuan. Untuk memantau pelaksanaan pembelajaran, diterapkan berbagai instrumen, seperti lembar observasi, panduan wawancara, dan daftar soal evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan adanya peningkatan pencapaian belajar siswa kelas III MIS Ikhwanul Muslimin setelah menggunakan media visual berupa gambar. Saat Siklus I, rasio penyelesaian belajar menembus 43%, setelah itu di Siklus II meningkat hingga 100%, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 57%. Peningkatan ini terjadi karena penggunaan media visual gambar yang memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna serta meningkatkan semangat peserta didik, mengakibatkan para siswa lebih optimal dalam mencapai hasil belajar. Selain peningkatan hasil belajar, proses pembelajaran juga menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan siswa, di mana mereka tampak lebih antusias dan menikmati proses belajar mengajar.
