Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to identify the initial conditions of deaf children's development at SLB Pembina Negeri 1 Makassar and evaluate the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of early intervention. The results show that deaf children need an individualized approach to support their language, communication, and social skills development. Supporting factors such as family support and educator competence play an important role, while limited resources are a significant barrier. Structured early intervention and collaboration between schools and families can improve deaf children's learning outcomes and independence.
