PENGARUH DISIPLIN BELAJAR TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN AKADEMIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA SUNDA: STUDI KUANTITATIF KAUSAL DI TINGKAT SEKOLAH DASAR DAN MENENGAH

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of study discipline on academic achievement in Sundanese language learning at the elementary and secondary school levels. This study uses a causal quantitative design to measure the relationship between study discipline (independent variable) and academic achievement in Sundanese language learning (dependent variable). The research was conducted at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Karihkil 3 and MTs Darunna'im YAPIA Parung Bogor, with a sample of 124 students. Data collection techniques included a questionnaire to measure study discipline and multiple-choice tests to measure Sundanese language learning outcomes. The results of the analysis using simple linear regression showed that study discipline significantly affects students' academic achievement in Sundanese language subjects. The obtained linear regression coefficient is 0.174, which indicates that each increase of one point in study discipline can improve Sundanese language learning outcomes by 0.174 points. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.146 shows that 14.6% of the variation in academic achievement can be explained by study discipline. These findings emphasize the importance of study discipline in improving students' academic achievement at the elementary and secondary education levels and provide practical insights for developing more effective learning strategies.


 


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap keberhasilan akademik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Sunda di tingkat Sekolah Dasar dan Menengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif kausal untuk mengukur hubungan antara disiplin belajar (variabel independen) dan keberhasilan akademik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Sunda (variabel dependen). Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Karihkil 3 dan MTs Darunna'im YAPIA Parung Bogor, dengan sampel yang terdiri dari 124 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket untuk mengukur disiplin belajar dan tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur hasil belajar Bahasa Sunda. Hasil analisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa disiplin belajar memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keberhasilan akademik siswa dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Sunda. Koefisien regresi linier yang diperoleh adalah 0,174, yang menunjukkan bahwa setiap peningkatan satu poin dalam disiplin belajar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Sunda sebesar 0,174 poin. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,146 menunjukkan bahwa 14,6% variasi dalam keberhasilan akademik dapat dijelaskan oleh disiplin belajar. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya disiplin belajar dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan akademik siswa di tingkat pendidikan dasar dan menengah, serta memberikan wawasan praktis bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif.
