Abstract
Artikel ini membahas tentang pentingnya asumsi dasar desain pembelajaran, asumsi desain pembelajaran dirancang untuk membantu peserta didik belajar secara individual. Pada dasarnya setiap oang belajar secara individual, meskipun secara praktis peserta didik belajar secara kelompok, namun hasil belajar dan kemampuannya selalu bersifat individual. Oleh karena itu, desain pembelajaran selalu bersifat individual. desain sistem pembelajaran dapat memberi pengaruh terhadap perkembangan inidividu. Bila proses pembelajaran telah dirancang dengan baik, akan dapat memberi kesempatan yang lebih besar dalam perkembangan individu sesuai dengan kemampuan dasarnya. Hal ini juga berarti bahwa desain pembelajaran yang disusun harus mempertimbangkan terhadap keragaman individual yang ada pada peserta didik.
