Abstract
Pesatnya kemajuan teknologi dan meluasnya penggunaan media sosial telah mengubah cara individu berinteraksi dan belajar. Generasi Z, yang lahir pada pertengahan tahun 1990-an hingga awal tahun 2000-an, tumbuh di dunia digital di mana media sosial menjadi sarana utama komunikasi dan konsumsi informasi. Menyadari potensi media sosial sebagai sarana pembelajaran, para pendidik dan peneliti mulai menjajaki pemanfaatan optimalisasi media sosial dalam konteks pembelajaran IPS. Karena optimalisasi media sosial dapat memenuhi karakteristik unik Generasi Z, hal ini menjanjikan peningkatan pengalaman belajar dan pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi manfaat dan tantangan penggunaan optimasi media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran bagi Generasi Z.
