PERAN PEMIKIRAN KI HAJAR DEWANTARA DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER GENERASI MUDA DI SEKOLAH SMAN 11 MEDAN

Abstract
Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran pemikiran Ki Hajar Dewantara dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri (SMAN) 11 Medan. Ki Hajar Dewantara, sebagai tokoh pendidikan terkemuka Indonesia, memiliki warisan pemikiran yang berpengaruh dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pendidik dan siswa serta observasi terhadap praktik pendidikan di SMAN 11 Medan. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana pemikiran Ki Hajar Dewantara tercermin dalam kegiatan dan nilai-nilai sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran Ki Hajar Dewantara memiliki dampak yang kuat dalam membentuk karakter siswa, terutama dalam hal pendidikan karakter, keberagaman, kemandirian, dan kepemimpinan.
