PENERAPAN METODE MICRO TEACHING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK CALON GURU

Abstract
Kemampuan pedagogik merupakan elemen kunci yang wajib dimiliki oleh calon guru untuk menjalankan tugas mengajar secara optimal. Salah satu metode yang telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan ini adalah micro teaching, yang memungkinkan calon guru untuk berlatih mengajar dalam skala kecil dengan situasi yang terkendali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan micro teaching dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik calon guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa micro teaching secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, mengevaluasi pembelajaran, serta mengelola kelas. Umpan balik yang diberikan selama sesi micro teaching juga memainkan peran penting dalam refleksi dan perbaikan kemampuan mengajar. Studi ini merekomendasikan agar metode micro teaching diimplementasikan secara lebih luas dalam pendidikan guru untuk membekali calon pendidik dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di dunia pengajaran.
Pedagogical competence is a key element that prospective teachers must possess in order to perform teaching duties optimally. One method that has proven effective in enhancing this competence is micro teaching, which allows future teachers to practice teaching on a small scale in a controlled environment. This study aims to analyze the implementation of micro teaching in improving the pedagogical competence of prospective teachers. The results show that micro teaching significantly enhances skills in planning, executing, evaluating lessons, and managing the classroom. Feedback provided during micro teaching sessions also plays an important role in reflection and improvement of teaching skills. This study recommends that the micro teaching method be more widely implemented in teacher education to equip future educators with the necessary skills for the teaching profession.
