PENGEMBANGAN POJOK BACA: STRATEGI PENINGKATAN LITERASI DI SD IT AD DURRAH

Abstract
This study examines the implementation of a Reading Corner program as a strategy to enhance literacy among students at SD IT AD DURRAH. The research employs a participatory action research approach, involving the development of a dedicated reading area, regular reading activities, and integrated Quranic literacy programs. The results indicate a significant increase in students' reading interest and literacy skills, as well as improved Quranic reading abilities. The study highlights the importance of creating an engaging reading environment and integrating literacy activities with Islamic values in fostering a sustainable reading culture among elementary school students.
Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi program Pojok Baca sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan literasi di kalangan siswa SD IT AD DURRAH. Menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan partisipatif, studi ini melibatkan pengembangan area membaca khusus, kegiatan membaca rutin, dan program literasi Al-Quran yang terintegrasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam minat baca dan keterampilan literasi siswa, serta peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan membaca yang menarik dan mengintegrasikan kegiatan literasi dengan nilai-nilai Islam dalam menumbuhkan budaya baca yang berkelanjutan di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar
