PENTINGNYA TERAPI WICARA PADA ANAK AUTISME (THE IMPORTANCE OF SPEECH THERAPY IN CHILDREN WITH AUTISM)

Abstract
Autisme seringkali dikaitkan dengan gangguan komunikasi yang signifikan. Terapi wicara menawarkan pendekatan terstruktur untuk mengatasi tantangan ini. Artikel ini mengkaji berbagai teknik terapi wicara yang umum digunakan, seperti pelatihan suara, pengembangan kosakata, dan peningkatan keterampilan percakapan. Terapi wicara merupakan intervensi penting bagi anak dengan autisme untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasinya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengulas manfaat terapi wicara dalam mengatasi tantangan komunikasi pada anak autis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa terapi wicara efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif, serta meningkatkan interaksi sosial anak autis. Tujuan dari terapi wicara pada anak autisme adalah untuk membantu anak mengembangkan kemampuan berkomunikasi yang efektif. Terapi ini melibatkan berbagai strategi, termasuk penggunaan alat bantu visual, bermain peran, dan modifikasi perilaku.
Autism is often associated with significant communication impairment. Speech therapy offers a structured appoerch to address these challenges. This article examines various commonly used speech therapy techniques, such a voice training, vocabulary development and conversational skill enchancement. Speech therapy is an important interventon for children with autism t improve their communication skills. This article aims to review the benefits of speech therapy in overcoming communication challenes in children with autism. The review shows that speech therapy is effective in developing receptive and expressive language skills, as well as improving social interaction in children with autism. The goal of speech therapy in children with autism is to help childen develop effective communication skills. It involves a variety of strategies, including the use of visual aids, role play, and behavior modification.
