LATAR BELAKANG MUNCULNYA FILSAFAT PENDIDIKAN: DARI ISLAM, SPIRITUALISME KUNO, HINGGA PEMIKIRAN SOCRATES, PLATO, DAN ARISTOTELES

Abstract
Filsafat pendidikan Islam merupakan sistem pemikiran yang berbasis pada nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an dan Hadis, bertujuan untuk mencetak individu yang unggul secara intelektual, bermoral, dan memiliki spiritualitas tinggi. Artikel ini mengupas pengertian, latar belakang, prinsip, dan penerapan filsafat pendidikan Islam, termasuk pengaruhnya di Indonesia. Dalam tradisi Islam, filsafat pendidikan terinspirasi oleh integrasi ilmu pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai agama, dengan tokoh seperti Al-Ghazali, Ibn Sina, dan Al-Farabi sebagai pelopor. Di Indonesia, tokoh seperti KH. Hasyim Asy'ari memajukan konsep pendidikan berbasis pesantren yang menyelaraskan ilmu agama dan pengetahuan umum. Artikel ini menyoroti peran penting filsafat pendidikan Islam dalam menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang mendidik, memuliakan manusia, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan sosial.
