PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MIND MAPPING TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PENGETAHUAN BAHASA INDONESIA PADA SISWA KELAS V DI SDNEGERI GUGUS III KEDIRI

Abstract
Kemajuan teknologi maupun keilmuan yang sangat massif telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam sistem pendidikan, khususnya dalam metode pembelajaran yang digunakan. Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat sekolah dasar menjadi bagian penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa, baik lisan maupun tulisan. Namun, masih banyak ditemukan masalah dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, seperti penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional yang monoton, kurangnya media pembelajaran yang kreatif, serta rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis mind mapping terhadap kemampuan pengetahuan Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Gugus III Kediri pada tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan model rancangan non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan model PBL berbantuan mind mapping dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan model konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kompetensi pengetahuan Bahasa Indonesia antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, dengan grup eksperimen menampilkan perbaikan yang lebih signifikan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantuan mind mapping berpengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan Bahasa Indonesia siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai Thitung sebesar 6.138 > 1, 99 yang merupakan nilai Ttabel. Dengan demikian, hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak, dan hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima
The rapid development of science and technology has brought significant changes to the education system, particularly in the teaching methods used. Indonesian language education at the elementary school level plays an important role in enhancing students' communication skills, both oral and written. However, there are still many issues in the implementation of teaching, such as the use of monotonous conventional teaching models, the lack of creative learning media, and low student participation in learning activities. This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by mind mapping on the Indonesian language knowledge competence of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Gugus III Kediri in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research design used is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. This study involves two groups, namely the experimental group using the PBL model assisted by mind mapping and the control group using the conventional model. The results of the study indicate a significant difference in Indonesian language knowledge competence between the experimental and control groups, with the experimental group showing better improvement. This proves that the application of the PBL model assisted by mind mapping has a positive impact on improving students' Indonesian language knowledge competence. This is proven by the Tcount value of 6,138 > 1.99 which is the Ttable value. So H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
