ANALISIS PENERAPAN METODE GAMES EDUCATION DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis Games Education dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Games Education memadukan elemen bermain dan belajar melalui media permainan fisik, seperti ular tangga dan monopoli, serta media digital, seperti aplikasi Quizizz. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna, sehingga mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan.
Permainan ini juga mendorong siswa untuk lebih antusias, memahami materi, dan terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran. Namun, implementasi Games Education menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti durasi permainan yang panjang, keterbatasan cakupan materi, serta kendala teknis terkait perangkat dan jaringan internet. Dengan perencanaan dan penyesuaian yang baik, metode ini menjadi inovasi yang efektif untuk mendukung pembelajaran di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis permainan dapat menjadi strategi yang relevan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan prestasi siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract
This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Games Education-based learning in increasing elementary school students' learning motivation. Games Education combines elements of play and learning through physical game media, such as snakes and ladders and monopoly, as well as digital media, such as the Quizizz application. The results of the study show that this approach creates an interactive, fun and meaningful learning atmosphere, thereby significantly increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. This game also encourages students to be more enthusiastic, understand the material, and be actively involved in learning. However, the implementation of Games Education faces several challenges, such as the long duration of the game, limited material coverage, and technical obstacles related to devices and internet networks.
With good planning and adjustments, this method becomes an effective innovation to support learning at the elementary school level. This research concludes that game-based learning media can be a relevant strategy for improving the quality of learning and student achievement in elementary schools.
