Abstract

Sunan Ibnu Majah merupakan salah satu kitab hadis yang signifikan dalam keilmuan Islam, memberikan kontribusi unik terhadap fikih klasik dan kontemporer. Penelitian ini menganalisis sistematika kitab, mengevaluasi validitas sanad (rantai periwayatan) dan matan (isi hadis), serta mengeksplorasi relevansinya terhadap tantangan hukum dan etika modern. Dengan menggunakan analisis konten kualitatif, pendekatan historis-kritis, dan metode campuran, penelitian ini mengkategorikan hadis berdasarkan tema, seperti keadilan sosial, kesetaraan gender, dan hak minoritas, serta menilai aplikasinya dalam konteks kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sunan Ibnu Majah memuat berbagai hadis dengan tingkat keabsahan yang beragam, memperkaya diskursus Islam sekaligus menghadirkan tantangan dalam klasifikasi dan interpretasi. Penelitian ini menyoroti fleksibilitas kitab dalam menjawab isu-isu modern, khususnya dalam bidang hukum keluarga dan keadilan sosial, serta menegaskan relevansinya dalam perkembangan fikih Islam global. Penelitian ini memperkuat peran penting Sunan Ibnu Majah sebagai jembatan antara tradisi klasik dan konteks modern, sekaligus memberikan kerangka kerja yang kokoh untuk studi lanjutan tentang penerapan hadis dalam masyarakat Muslim masa kini.
