Abstract

Budaya woke, yang muncul dari hasrat untuk keadilan sosial, telah mengalami perubahan saat memasuki ranah digital. Di platform media sosial, budaya ini berkembang menjadi norma moral baru yang sangat agresif, sering kali menolak berbagai pandangan dan mengurangi ruang untuk diskusi publik yang sehat. Fenomena seperti cancel culture, simbolisme moral, dan dorongan untuk menjalin afiliasi ideologis menciptakan suasana komunikasi yang penuh emosi, eksklusif, dan tidak menerima ketidakpastian. Di dalam ekosistem algoritmik yang memperkuat polarisasi serta memprioritaskan konten yang viral, narasi yang lebih kompleks sering kali tergantikan oleh pernyataan moral yang sederhana dan cepat dicerna. Akibatnya, kebebasan berekspresi semakin menyusut, sementara pola logika argumen terpinggirkan oleh performa identitas di dunia maya. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan studi kasus digital dengan menganalisis wacana kritis dari konten dan komentar di Instagram, untuk memahami struktur kekuasaan dan ideologi dalam komunikasi online. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya kemampuan literasi digital, tekanan simbolis, dan struktur algoritmik di media sosial menjadi penyebab utama krisis rasionalitas dan peningkatan polarisasi sosial di Indonesia.
