KOMUNIKASI PEMBANGUNAN BERBASIS NILAI BUDAYA DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN LOKAL

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki pentingnya komunikasi pembangunan berbasis nilai-nilai budaya untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada tinjauan pustaka komprehensif jurnal-jurnal akademis mengenai komunikasi pembangunan dan nilai-nilai budaya. Selain itu, observasi lapangan dilakukan untuk memperoleh wawasan tentang praktik-praktik komunikasi dalam lingkungan budaya lokal adat. Temuan-temuan menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi pembangunan yang efektif harus mempertimbangkan konteks budaya setempat, karena nilai-nilai budaya membentuk bagaimana pesan-pesan diciptakan, ditafsirkan, dan diterima. Inisiatif-inisiatif yang ditujukan untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat di daerah-daerah multikultural, seperti Papua dan Tana Toraja, menyoroti peran penting pendidikan budaya dan festival-festival dalam memperkuat identitas dan kesatuan sosial. Penelitian ini lebih jauh menekankan bagaimana nilai-nilai budaya memainkan peran penting dalam mencapai Tujuan-Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), sementara juga mengakui kesulitan-kesulitan dalam menyeimbangkan pertimbangan-pertimbangan budaya dengan pendekatan-pendekatan pragmatis dalam komunikasi pembangunan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menawarkan perspektif yang berharga tentang perlunya memasukkan nilai-nilai budaya ke dalam strategi-strategi komunikasi pembangunan untuk mencapai hasil-hasil yang lebih berkelanjutan dan inklusif.
