Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan sistem pengelolaan dokumen elektronik di PT X, sebuah perusahaan pegadaian, dalam mendukung efektivitas administrasi perkantoran. Penggunaan sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan kecepatan dalam pengelolaan dokumen dibandingkan metode manual yang sebelumnya diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan wawancara terhadap empat informan, yaitu kepala divisi administrasi, kepala divisi auditor, serta dua staf dari divisi administrasi dan auditor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem pengelolaan dokumen elektronik telah memberikan dampak positif, terutama dalam hal pengurangan kesalahan administrasi dan efisiensi waktu. Namun, ditemukan beberapa hambatan, seperti masalah teknis pada sistem dan kurangnya pelatihan karyawan yang berdampak pada pemanfaatan optimal. Faktor lain yang mempengaruhi efektivitas adalah kualitas sistem, dukungan manajemen, dan integrasi antar sistem. Solusi yang diusulkan meliputi peningkatan pelatihan karyawan, upgrade sistem teknologi, dan evaluasi berkala untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan efektivitas sistem dalam jangka panjang.
This study aims to analyze the utilization of the electronic document management system at PT X, a pawnshop company, in supporting the effectiveness of office administration. The implementation of this system is expected to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed in document management compared to the previously used manual method. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with interviews conducted with four informants, including the head of the administration division, the head of the audit division, and two staff members from the administration and audit divisions. The findings reveal that the implementation of the electronic document management system has positively impacted document management, particularly in reducing administrative errors and improving time efficiency. However, several challenges were identified, such as technical issues and a lack of adequate employee training, which hinders optimal utilization. Other factors influencing the system’s effectiveness include system quality, management support, and system integration. Proposed solutions include enhancing employee training, upgrading the technological infrastructure, and conducting regular evaluations to ensure the system's long-term effectiveness and sustainability.
